Mr Stopwatch App Reviews

Just downloaded and tried this app. Doesnt work at all - zero functionality. Restarted to make sure there wasnt something wrong with by very recent MacPro - still doesnt work. No functionality, no UI, nothing. Stay away!

This app just popped up a modal dialogue box pestering me for a review, so it automatically gets one star.

I was looking for something to help me keep track of how long I am spending on studying a certain subject matter. Mr. Stopwatch helped me achieve that. The improvement in the shortcuts was great. Thank you :)

I use this aplication to time work in my classroom. The only thing that would make it better (for me) would be to have a “full screen” option.

This little timer is exactly what I needed to help me time my book presentations. Two thumbs up!

it’s simple to use and it’s intuitive.

I love the look and functionality of the app. I use it during my technical support calls when I am waiting on hold for another department and have to check back with the customer every few minutes. I would appreciate a few tweaks of the app. Granted that Cmd + H works to hide the app window and run in the menu bar, there should a minimize or hide button in the window, and a selection in the drop down list. It could be redesigned to open in the menu bar and have the main window open by clicking an “open” option at the top of the drop down list, and to auto-hide by clicking the power icon in the app that now closes it. A “reset” option also needs to be added to the drop-down menu. These fiew tweaks should make that app more streamline, functional, and user friendly.

This app does not keep track of time while the computer is closed. I thought that this was an assumed function so I am dissapointed.

APRIL 4 2015 FINALLY, FINALLY I FOUND A TIMER THAT FITS MY NEEDS. EASY TO USE AND NICE LOOKING. I HAVE TRIED OTHERS AND THIS IS THE ONE THAT I WILL KEEP.

Does exactly what it says it would. I love it and use it ever day with my personal productivity and with Virtual masterminds I run every single day!

Works great, runs just as described. Nice visuals and easy to use. Would be nice to be able to launch it from the top menu bar.

I am not sure what happened, but the timer dissapears from the top bar when I am using Chrome- that’s the only reason I have the app. Is this due to the OSX upgrade or what?

My chief complaint is that I can’t cilck a button to hide the app but leave it in my menu. I know I can CMD + H but there should be a hide button. Also, “reset” should be added to the drop-down menu when clicking on the icon in the menu. Also this app really doesn’t belong in my dock - it should run without a dock icon. Overall 2 stars cause it works but pretty lousy UI.

Clear voice and visible numbers. Simple to use.

works perfectly, only i wish there was an option to make the stopwatch go fullscreen instead of only a little window.

A simple, functional, EASY to use (lots of keyboard shortcuts, too) STOPWATCH. I use it to time scripts and such. I really did not need anything fancier. Sure, I could use my phone…but that can be a pain at times. Nice to have this as an option.
